Raiffeisen Agil Digitalizes with opheo
Hamburg, September 7, 2023 – Raiffeisen Agil Leese eG, based in Lower Saxony, will manage its fleet of 25 trucks, 31 wheel loaders, mobile shredders, and screening machines using the opheo Transport Control System starting in the second quarter of 2024. The system will be deployed in the mineral oil trade, renewable energy, and environmental services departments and operated by a total of four dispatchers.
Integration of opheo into Existing IT Landscape
opheo will integrate into Raiffeisen Agil’s existing IT landscape, including the already present telematics system from DAKO. Order data will be transferred from the enterprise resource planning (ERP) system Amic A.eins to opheo and then dispatched into optimized tours with planned arrival times. This information will be immediately reported back to the ERP software and sent via mobile communication to the Webfleet mobile devices assigned to the vehicles. These devices will be equipped with the opheo MOBILE telematics app.
Delivery Notifications and Electronic Delivery Notes
opheo MOBILE guides drivers step-by-step through the delivery process, with each new delivery status documented and reported to the central office. opheo proactively identifies delays in the tour schedule, and dispatchers are automatically informed about impending delays. Customers receive automatic notifications of upcoming deliveries, and digital proof of delivery is obtained via signature on the devices’ displays.
Route Optimization with Intelligent Algorithms
“With opheo, we will replace the traditional delivery note and completely digitalize delivery processes,” plans Project Manager Jan-Patrick Romaus, who works in IT and Data Protection at Raiffeisen Agil. With the intelligent algorithm for route optimization integrated into opheo, he aims to utilize the fleet more efficiently and “handle more orders with existing resources.” Customers within a radius of approximately 300 kilometers are supplied from Leese and several regional intermediate warehouses. The radius extends to North Rhine-Westphalia, Berlin, and Hamburg.
Dispatch and Telematics Solution
Productive work with the new dispatch and telematics solution is scheduled to begin in February 2024. “The official go-live is planned for the second quarter of 2024,” says Romaus. For the trained IT specialist in system integration, it is also the master project within his further education to become a Bachelor Professional.
