Your cost transparency.
Our TMS Agenda.
Our Transport Management System (TMS) is called LP2 and covers the entire transport process from order entry to billing. It includes, among other things, order, shipment, and transport creation, automatic freight calculation based on internal tariffs and over 120 published tariffs, shipment consolidation, automatic carrier selection, tracking, as well as invoice verification through “Invoice Matching”.
In addition, LP2 enables accurate cost allocation down to item, order shipment, and customer for operational and financial transparency. Reporting and visualisation (SP2) are available for analyses; with SCALA, freight quotes can be simulated and scenarios compared. Numerous web portals enable easy communication with partners (e.g., LPOnline, WebPublishing, Tracking, Order, Billing Portal, GateScheduler, efreight, Tendering), and open interfaces/services (TCWebService, TCApplicationServer) ensure timely integration; add-ons such as export/customs, packing, and load carrier management expand the range of functions.
LP2 can be individually adapted to the needs of companies in various industries, centralising logistics management to optimally enable scaling across locations and country.
Daily problems we solve
Manual effort & process disruptions
Media breaks in order entry, documents, label/customs data; carrier integration and master data maintenance cost a lot of time and energy for the team.
LP2 introduces seamless workflows, integrates ERP/WMS via API/EDI, and enables efficient management of service providers.
Data silos & lack of end-to-end transparency
Order, shipment, and carrier data are not integrated (ERP/WMS/Excel) – disruptions become visible late, KPIs are inconsistent. inaccurate and after the event.
The TMS creates a central database with real-time track & trace and clear current KPIs, offering the opportunity for true scaling.
Error-prone freight billing
Tariffs, surcharges, and special conditions are complex; invoices are only checked on an ad hoc basis, when there is time, which is less and less.
LP2 manages rate agreements, calculates costs per order/shipment down to the item/customer level, and offers invoice matching including dispute management workflows.

FAQ
Who is LP2 Suitable for?
For shipping companies with high shipment volumes, multiple locations/freight forwarding partners, and complex tariffs – including industry, trade, FMCG, construction, automotive. As a TMS backbone, LP2 is multi-tenant, integrable, and internationally connectable.
Cloud or On-Prem?
Both are possible. LP2 can be run on its own infrastructure and/or used as a hosted, browser-based portal (LPOnline) – we choose the model in line with security, IT, and compliance requirements.
Does LP2 Support International Tariffs & Languages?
Yes. LP2 works with various tariff types and distance matrices (including EU/worldwide) and the web portals are multilingual and expandable.
How Long Does the Implementation Take?
The duration depends on interfaces, tariff complexity, and data quality. We proceed iteratively (MVP/stages, parallel operation) so that results become usable early.
What is the Project Approach?
Project Approach
- Assessment & Blueprint: Goals, KPIs, Tariff/Process Analysis
- Implementation & Integration: Interfaces, Master Data, Workflows
- Tariff Modeling & Tests: Acceptance Scenarios, Parallel Operation
- Go-Live & Enablement: Training, Hypercare, KPI Tracking
Which Interfaces & Technology are Required for LP2?
LP2 offers open APIs (SOAP/REST) via the TCWebService, file/Excel imports (including ODBC), and automation via TCApplicationServer. ERP/WMS/telematics can thus be cleanly integrated; EDI/label/tracking are supported.
Which Partner Networks Can be Integrated?
Carriers/freight forwarders, suppliers, and customers are integrated via portals (e.g., WebPublishing, Order/Tracking/Billing) and EDI, including assignment, confirmation, and status tracking.
How Do We Integrate our Freight Forwarders?
Via the Partner Portal (Assignment, Auction), interfaces/EDI, and label/tracking integrations.
How Do We Handle Existing Tariffs and Data?
We take over master data/tariffs in a structured manner, verify them in testing, and ensure traceability via audit trails.
What License and Support Models are Available?
LP2 is licensed modularly (Core + Add-ons + Portals). Support, maintenance, and updates are contractually regulated and tailored to your operating model (Cloud/On-Prem).
Is LP2 Multi-Tenant and Suitable for International Rollouts (Languages, Currencies, Locations)?
Yes. LP2 is designed for companies with multiple locations and is multi-tenant, ideal for international rollouts. The web portals are multilingual and expandable, and LP2 works with various tariff types, distance matrices, and worldwide location data; this allows country-specific requirements to be mapped. We configure details regarding currencies and local regulations project-specifically.
Are there Portals for Suppliers/Customers (Inbound Order, Billing, Tracking) – and how Quickly are They Ready for Use?
Yes: LPOnline (entry/dispatch), OrderPortal (inbound packaging & SSCC), BillingPortal (pre-invoice/credit note), TrackingPortal (status & POD) – supplemented by WebPublishing (carrier portal) and GateScheduler (ramps). The portals are browser-based and multilingual with configurable dialogs, which means they can be rolled out quickly in practice; the specific duration depends on interfaces and the rights model.
